Lay Down

There were times when I was sure of most things
Confused, desperate and eager to prove
The minutes were amazing and the hours were blazing
Ticking but never blinking

Now I just want to lay down and close my eyes
And not think
What I thought was right might have been false
And the only truth is I know absolutely nothing

I'm scared
For I do things differently
And it's the only way i know how
